What happened to Cortexiom?

We have paused the public app (Chat) and API (Build) while we rebuild Cortexiom as a research system around its self-model: a model of how a person thinks that keeps itself honest. You can join the research waitlist from the Cortexiom section on this page.

What is the difference between Nodiom and Cortexiom?

Different layers. Nodiom gives agents memory: a durable, markdown-native store any agent can read and write. It is not built on our reasoning architecture. Cortexiom gives agents, and people, judgment: the evidence and assumptions behind every answer, contradictions caught, and what to check.

What is the difference between Synexiom Systems and Synexiom Counsel?

Systems builds the reasoning layer into one of your workflows: a specific tool you deploy, with advisory and support around it. Counsel is a platform: it learns your organisation’s knowledge and policies, checks AI-drafted work against them, and keeps every decision on record. A Systems build is something you deploy; Counsel keeps growing with you.

Do you work with organisations outside Atlantic Canada?

Yes. We’re based on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, and serve clients globally, with particular depth where reasoning quality matters: healthcare, finance, natural resources and other high-stakes decisions.

Is government funding available for AI projects?

Potentially, yes. Many clients have accessed ACOA, NS Department of Labour, Skills and Immigration, and federal innovation programs. We can help scope your project to fit them as part of the conversation.
